Travel retail environments are defined by extreme constraints: limited floor space, constant customer flow, visual saturation, and the need for fast, intuitive interaction. In this context, a display is not just a container—it must perform efficiently under pressure.
This project addresses these conditions by reducing the footprint to a minimum and developing the display vertically, turning height into a strategic asset rather than a limitation. The result is a compact presence that maximizes product visibility without competing for valuable ground space.
The design balances accessibility and control. Partially rotating trays allow users to interact easily and quickly, while preventing instability or visual disorder. Every element is calibrated to support rapid, low-effort engagement typical of transit environments.
Operational efficiency is equally central. The base integrates hidden storage for back-up stock, ensuring the display remains consistently full and reducing restocking frequency—an essential factor in high-traffic locations with limited staff intervention time.
From an industrial standpoint, the structure is built around a metal load-bearing core, ensuring durability and long-term stability. Plastic components are used for trays and cladding to optimize weight, cost, and scalability in production. The modular system simplifies assembly, transport, and maintenance, while enabling flexible configurations across different retail scenarios.
Rather than introducing unnecessary formal complexity, the project adopts a restrained visual language, allowing it to adapt to multiple brands and environments while maintaining clarity and order within visually dense spaces.
